It seems life got in the way a bit so it's been awhile since I connected. Quilting and stitching continues to be my main hobby, although some might refer to it as an addiction. Yesterday at our first Guild meeting of 2025 I heard several comments about how pleasant it was to get back into a routine after a very busy holiday. I also had a conversation with one of our members about quilting as therapy.
A prime example of quilting as therapy is a book gifted to me by my sister entitled "Quilts of Covid". Produced in Prince Edward Island by the Kindred Spirits Quilt Guild, Edie Zakem writes in the introduction, "You had to move a needle to get through Covid".
Although this news link is a little old, the message remains the same. Quilting is therapy.
Happy stitching everyone.
